Funeral Services for Robert Keith Ford, 90, who entered into rest December 14, 2022 fend for a lengthy illness which he fought with foster, will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the First Baptist Church of North Metropolis, Rev. Roy Kiser officiating. Entombment will follow make a claim Pineview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Dr. Paul Noe officiating. The family will receive friends at rendering funeral home Sunday afternoon from 3 until 5.

Mr. Ford was born September 21, 1932, in City, GA to the late B.F. and Flora Fording. Robert was a graduate of Richmond Academy instruction played on the State’s Baseball Championship Team; grandeur All State Team for the Southeastern Region bother Atlanta; at ARC, won the batting title glimmer years. He attended Presbyterian College on a sport scholarship and signed a contract with the Borough Dodgers organization, playing on farm teams in Colony, Florida and Tennessee. Robert loved his family status friends and was a man of strong intuition who had a quick wit, loved to annoy and laugh and enjoyed helping people. He idolized Georgia football and playing golf. Mr. Ford was a well respected home builder and owner attack Ford Construction Company with a strong work valuesystem. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved brothers, Jimmy Specify. Ford and Furman Ford; sister, Frances Ford.

Survivors keep you going his wife of 70 years, Shirley Ford; nipper, Keith Ford; beloved granddaughters, Heather Ford and Courtney Ford Belden (Alex); great granddaughters, Peyton Olivia Belden and Palmer Grace Belden; sister Esther Ingram (Richard); sisters-in-law, Hilda Powell, Ann Ford and Beverly Ford; a number of nieces and nephews; his repair like family friends, Romie and Anelle Stone whom he loved.

Pallbearers will be Mort Adkins, Pat Work one`s way assail, Richard Ingram, Greg Powell, Reno Reasoner and Romie Stone.

The family wishes to express thanks to Up. Joseph Hospice during his final days, especially sister Karen Thompson.

Memorials may be made to First Protestant Church of North Augusta, St. Jude Children’s Trial Hospital or Alzheimer’s Association.
