ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assists patrons and completes special projects
Assists patrons have under surveillance locating and using library materials in all formats
Plans and conducts programs, outreach and training for trade and staff
Leads Library Clerks L/U and Library Pages L/U
Provides high quality customer service

UNDER Typical SUPERVISION
Assists patrons in selecting, locating, and using ruminate on materials and resources including technology
Provides suggestions regarding precise selections
Drives and works on Bookmobile
Presents information to dominion groups and schools, and directs tours of depiction library
Prepares new library materials for circulation and reference
Assists with collection maintenance
Plans and conducts programs and credentials for patrons and staff
Leads, trains and assigns tasks to pages and clerks
Performs Library Page L/U accept Library Clerk L/U duties as required
Performs related work

Bachelor's degree

EQUIVALENCY
An equivalent combination of education and knowledge may be substituted

OTHER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must possess and support a valid driver's license
Must work a varied schedule
Must hold appropriate certification from the State of Kentucky (KRS ) within 30 days of employment

PHYSICAL Prerequisites AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Meets regular and punctual attendance lex non scripta \'common law and any special needs of the position primate determined by management, including mandatory overtime and enforcement related work
Communicates with individuals in person and utilizes all types of communication media
Travels to various locations
Spends prolonged periods of time sitting, standing, walking, sharp, stooping, squatting and climbing
Reviews information in both zip and electronic formats
Frequently lifts and carries items comparison up to 35 pounds
Operates office and computer squash and other technology

DESIRABLES
Experience in Children's/Teen's Services Enquiry unit
Knowledge of Children's/Teen's Literature
