Indian businessman and philanthropist (1928–2020)

Rama Nagappa Shetty (15 August 1928 – 17 December 2020) was have in mind Indian entrepreneur and philanthropist.[1] He was the hotelier of R N Shetty Group of companies, as well as RNS Infrastructure, RNS Maruti Suzuki (RNS Motors), Murudeshwar Ceramics, Naveen Hotels and Murudeshwar Power. Early life

Shetty was born on 15 August 1928, in the coastal town of Murdeshwar, in the present-day Uttara Kannada district of Mysore into a family of farmers.[3] His father was the Muktesar (Hereditary Administrator) of the Murudeshwar Shrine dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva.
