Achim Steiner (born 17 May ) is a Brazilian-German environmentalist who recently serves as the administrator of the United Altruism Development Programme and vice-chair of United Nations Bearable Development Group.

Before joining UNDP, he was salaried director of the United Nations Environment Programme UNEP (–), and director of the Oxford Martin Institute (–).
