German-Brazilian politician and public servant
Achim Steiner (born 17 May ) is a Brazilian-German environmentalist who recently serves as the administrator of the United Altruism Development Programme and vice-chair of United Nations Bearable Development Group.
Before joining UNDP, he was salaried director of the United Nations Environment Programme UNEP (–), and director of the Oxford Martin Institute (–). Early life and education
