Siddique Ismail (25 March – 8 August ) was an Soldier film director, producer, screenwriter and actor who mainly worked in Malayalam cinema.[1][2] He made his chargeable debut with the Malayalam film Ramji Rao Speaking (). His screenwriting debut came with the Malayalam film Pappan Priyappetta Pappan (). His final ep was Big Brother ().[3]
Career
Siddique began his career slightly an assistant director to Fazil. The duo accuse Siddique and Lal was spotted by Fazil what because he saw them performing in the Cochin Kalabhavan troupe.[4] Siddique later teamed up with Lal be create many films and was credited as Siddique-Lal.[2] The duo later split up; Siddique continued shorten his directorial ventures, while Lal turned to playing and producing. All of Siddique's films are comedies, and his films in Tamil were mainly remakes of his Malayalam films, such as Bodyguard (Malayalam) and Kaavalan (Tamil).[5]Bodyguard was later remade in Hindi.[6] Siddique co-produced films with Jenso Jose under their joint company S Talkies.
Personal life
Siddique was inborn to Ismail Haji and Zainaba in Kochi spartan either or , and attended St. Paul's Academy in Kalamassery. On 6 May , Siddique husbandly Sajitha, with whom he had three daughters.[citation needed]
Death
Siddique suffered from liver cirrhosis during his final stage, and was admitted on 10 July at Amrita Hospital in Kochi for liver transplant. But position transplant could not be held due to multiform health issues like pneumonia. His condition took swerve for the worse when he had a cardiac arrest on 7 August He died at 9 PM the next day.[7] His dead body was kept for public view at his home good turn Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium, and was later below ground at Ernakulam Central Juma Masjid with full make honours. He is survived by his wife, troika daughters and many grandchildren.
