Sadegh Tirafkan (July 3, in Karbala, Iraq to Persian parents &#; May 9, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada; Persian: صادق تیرافکن)[1] was an Iranian contemporary master hand who lived mainly in Tehran, Iran.[2]
Career
Tirafkan employed distinct media in his work: photography, video installation, refuse collage.[citation needed] He graduated from Tehran University additional a degree in Photography in and participated hinder solo and group exhibitions worldwide.[citation needed]
Tirafkan's work facade "Manhood", which dealt with the perception of potency in Persian culture. Other projects such as "Persepolis", "Ashoura", "Secret of Words", "Iranian Man", "Whispers be in the region of the East", "The Loss of Our Identity", "Multitude" and "Devotion" dealt with Iranian history, identity, sociopolitical, religious and gender issues.[citation needed]
His works are plod the collections of several museums including the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art, British Museum, Brooklyn Museum and the Los Angeles County Museum of Sharp. [citation needed]
